Services

We are proud to have a staff of state-licensed care providers with advanced degrees and certifications and over 35 years of experience in the health care industry. Our skilled nurses hold Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certifications and are Board Certified Wound Care Specialists, so you can be assured of the highest quality care.

We offer intermittent physician-ordered skilled nursing and other health care services for patients who are homebound due to illness or injury. Before we make any recommendations, we first conduct an in-depth interview and needs assessment with the referring physician and patient in order to determine the best course of action and develop a customized plan of care. We understand that each patient has a unique set of needs and preferences.

ABL Healthcare provides the following services:

  • Skilled Nursing – ABL Healthcare is proud to offer a wide range of skilled nursing services for homebound patients experiencing an illness, disease or injury, recovering from surgery, or requiring special care and assistance due to age related complications.
  • Physical Theraphy – ABL Healthcare understands that maintaining one’s independence is priceless. Our licensed Physical Therapists have extensive experience in helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries and disease-related disabilities, assisting them in learning how to restore balance, movement and mobility so that they can return to enjoying the things they love in life.
  • Occupational Therapy – ABL Healthcare offers Occupational Therapy services for patients who require assistance in organizing and managing their daily routines related to self-care (such as feeding, dressing and grooming), domestic chores and housework, as well as work and/or leisure activities. In addition, we have Hand-Certified Occupational Therapists on staff.
  • Speech Therapy – ABL Health Care’s Speech-Language Pathologists help stroke survivors with aphasia (language impairment) relearn how to use language. Through drills and exercises to improve language and conversation skills, or by developing alternative means of communication, such as gestures and writing, our Speech & Language Therapists are able to help patients develop problem-solving and social skills needed to cope with the after-effects of a stroke.
  • Medical Social Workers – ABL Healthcare’s Medical Social Workers serve as conduits for patient access to community resources for counseling, including individual and family therapy, as well as determine needs and requirements for alternative living arrangements for the elderly such as assisted living and nursing facilities.
  • Nutritionists – ABL Health Care’s Nutritionists are food and nutrition experts with advanced degrees and certifications from the American Dietetic Association (ADA). Our dietitians’ main goals are to promote health and prevent diseases by helping patients, families and caregivers plan and prepare customized food and nutrition programs suitable for their dietary needs and sensitive to their cultural and religious constraints.
  • Home Health Aides – ABL Health Care Aides are paraprofessional members of the home care team working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Therapist. Our Home Health Aides provide personal care services, track and observe the patients’ state and well-being, as well as document and report these observations to the supervising nurse or therapist. They will be assigned in a manner which promotes quality, continuity and safety of a patient’s care.
